Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I am so excited to tell you about this huge sale Ulta is having! I went there yesterday and a lot of their items are Buy One, Get One 50% Off! I may have gone a smidge overboard since I did spend $40.00 but I got my money’s worth because I waited and saved over $50.00.

I purchased from Organix Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco line and got myself the intense moisture treatment and conditioner and the Ulta Freshwater Mist Sugar Scrub. You can click on any of those pink words to get my full review on them!

Seriously, this is the best deal ever because everything is basically Buy One, Get One 50% Off. I bought the conditioner at 13.99 for Buy One, Get One 50% Off because it is the large bottle and they normally don’t sell those at my regular drugstores. The intense moisture treatment was $7.99 for Buy One, Get One 50% Off. The sugar scrub ended up being Buy 2, Get 2 FREE!!! Yes! I think that was the best deal because the scrub, after calculations, is only $6.00 a piece. Normally, the scrub is $12.00 and it does so many wonders to help remove dead skin without drying you out!

So, now that you have read this, I hope I made sense and go get yourself some amazing products at Ulta! If I was a billionaire, I probably would have bought all of their Organix Argan Oil of Morocco line because I love it that much!

Ulta Freshwater Mist Sugar Scrub

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here, and there is something about sugar scrubs that I have always wanted to try. I know that The Body Shop makes some but none of their scents call out to me, not to mention that they cost much more. I shop at Ulta frequently so when I saw that they had their own line, I jumped.

Packaging: I like that this is more compact than most but if you are in tight quarters this can be a bit on the large side.

Durability: I love that this scrubs my dry, dead skin away from my body. I don’t think that it lasts, smell wise, too long out of the shower but I don’t lather my body in this since I want to get the most time out of this product and use it sparingly.

Pigmentation: Blue like the sky reflecting on the ocean! I love the pigmentation of this and when you apply it the blue is nonexistent. The exfoliating beads are rough but if you apply sparingly you won’t rub your hands the wrong way if you have hands that break out in dry patches.

Budget: A solid $12 and if you become an Ulta Rewards member you can get coupons in the mail and get $3.50 off a $10 purchase! Sometimes coupons will come in that are $5 off of $10!

Ready for a Wedding!

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and recently I attended a wedding and a two day process overtook my life because I wanted to look the best that I could for the event. So, why not review all of the products I used? Some I have tested longer while others are still new to me so in the coming weeks you may see a jump here and there. Please note that some of the items are more high end than others but I have purchased them if they were on sale or when I wanted to treat myself. I still love shopping on a budget but I do know when some items are clearly much better than others after trial and error. Also, some of these items have already been reviewed so you can go ahead and get some reading done! Now, let’s get ready for a wedding!

Review: eos lip balm

Hello Shopahaulics, Tiffany here, and I want to tell you guys that this is going to be a review over a culmination of using the eos lip balm egg shaped ones for over two years.

Packaging: Unfortunately, I am not a huge fan of the packaging in the sense that it is hard to carry around if you have a small wristlet. I know that they have the stick versions as you can see in the picture above, but I do not know where you can buy them other than online.

Durability: This chapstick in the past two years (I have repurchased eos at least six times or more) has never failed me and no matter how many times it has fallen or been crushed in my bag, it has never broken on me.

Pigmentation: There is no pigmentation in any of the egg-shaped eos balms.

Budget: If you normally buy Carmex or something that is really affordable, you might not like eos. At Walmart, where I live, eos costs $2.96. I buy mine at Ulta, which again where I live, costs $3.27 (I think). I buy it at Ulta because they usually have more scents than Walmart. However, I saw at Target the new eos that, in the picture, is the farthest left called raspberry pomegranate.

My Thoughts: I tried eos first when I found out about it from Ingrid or missglamorazzi on youtube. I bought my first on which was the lemon scent. Below, I will list each one that I have tried and let you know what I thought, that way you can see which one you might be more inclined to get if you do.

Just a note that all of these do the same thing, they just smell different.

-Lemon: It definitely smells like lemon and if you are worried about acidity, there is none that I have ever noticed.

-Strawberry Sorbet: Not my favorite but it is good. A rather boring scent in the sense that you don’t get a tingly feeling on your lips. But if you really like strawberries, I would definitely get this one.

-Passion Fruit: This is a really nice scent since it isn’t the normal kind. It doesn’t give a tingly feeling either.

-Honeydew Honeysuckle: I know of an Asian candy that tastes like honeydew. I have always loved the scent of honeysuckle so this one was a nice scent to have.

-Sweet Mint: My favorite because this has a tingly feeling and smells really nice, especially since I use this before I sleep. Even if you have cracked lips, this works so well and doesn’t sting.

Let me know in the comments below if you are going to get it or if you do have it, let me know which you is your favorite!

Review: Freeman Facial Hydration Mask

Hello Shopahaulics, Tiffany here, and this facial masks does wonders after one use! I had the sample packet and used half of it over the summer and I didn’t notice anything. I used the other half now and even though it was folded down, the mask did not lose its properties to hydrate the skin.

Packaging: I only have used the packet, so I can not say anything about the bottle version (I just thought that it would be helpful if you would like to get it rather than a packet). The packet, once open, and closed with a bobby pin lasts a really long time if you only use half of it at a certain time.

Durability: I would have to say that the packet version is only good for gel-like substances as I have had to throw away clay masks because they dry out faster.

Pigmentation: The coloring looks like a gel-grey color that applies to the skin clear and dries to the skin clear.

Budget: The packet is only $1.37 at Walmart (fluctuating price depending on where you live) and the bottle costs $3.99. I recommend buying the packet versions to get a feel for what they can do for your skin. You can buy the packets at WalMart and the bottle at Ulta.

My Thoughts: This product is absolutely amazing for the winter as a lot of people’s skin dries out. I also recommend this for those of you with dry skin as this really does help hydrate skin. I would recommend two to three times a week if you have the time or every day since this product is non-abrasive and only benefits.

Shopping Monologue: Ulta <3

Hello Shopahaulics, Tiffany here, and I recently went into Ulta to return a hair straightener and to get new face products! The reason I returned my hair straightener was not that it was not good, I never even tried it, it was because there was a scratch on the plate. I know, something so minute and I returned it, but I don’t like when I buy something new that it is scratched already.

Anyway, I bought two clean and clear products and some of you may know that I am a huge fan of most of their products. I have to say that I have tried possibly more than half of their products. On this run to Ulta, I got the clean and clear morning burst detoxifying facial cleanser. I currently am using the shine control cleanser and wanted to try another in the line of morning burst. I also repurchased the clean and clear advantage oil absorbing cream cleanser since it is has done wonders to my skin, minus a little dryness.

My last item is a favorite of mine which is the eos lip balm in sweet mint and it is so good! If you get the chance to try an eos and don’t want a fruit flavor, go with the sweet mint.

Hello Shopahaulics, Tiffany here, and I want to know…Do you want to be a vampire this Halloween?

Keep reading to find out exactly what you can buy that will be worth your money!

I suggest for a palette that you can continue using when you are done with Halloween would be this Stila Stylish In Seoul Travel Palette. It is $16.00 which you might ask why I would put this palette up since it is a little higher in price than I normally review for my blog, but it is perfect for those of you who are new to makeup. If you can see above the shadows, there is a diagram which you can use to help as a guideline. Also, the palette comes with a lip color which you can use if you are going for an extreme dark eye look and want a more tame lip color.

Ulta is having an online sale for these lashes. They are the Nyx Fabulous Lashes & Glue – Gold Digger 209 for only $2.69 (limited time). I suggest false eyelashes because they bring out more drama in your look.

This is from Party City for $9.99 and it is ONLINE ONLY. I recommend that you get online items quickly, not to mention that Part City has a large stock of items that are not sold in-store. The kit is called Vixen Vampire Makeup Kit. I recommend this because it has nails (which you can use or opt for a nail color of your own, vampire teeth, blood, sponge, brush, and eyeshadows.

No need to worry if you don’t want to spend $9.99 for a makeup kit that you don’t want. These fangs are also from Party City and they are only $4.99.

I am posting tutorials for vampire makeup so that you can get ideas and possibly use the makeup that you already have for your vampy look.

This is Michelle Phan’s tutorial which is more sultry and not as dark, so if you are looking for a more subtle vampire eye, this is perfect.

Opposite to a subtle vampire look, MissChevious, also on youtube created this look which I was enraptured by when it had been uploaded.

I hope that this helps! Be safe and have fun!

How to Shop: Perfume

Hello Shopahaulics, Tiffany here, and perfume is a tricky thing to buy a lot of the times. Especially if you are buying it for someone else, so I am thinking that it is time to come up with a way so that you can buy a perfume that you love and if you are looking to get a present for someone, for them too.

I find that buying perfume can be a huge investment because of how much you spend on them. I personally started out with AVON perfume and I have gone through trial and error of the perfumes I have had. There are certain ones that I don’t like and that is because I would buy them on clearance so my money going in wouldn’t be a waste of a great proportion. I know that a lot of you might be skeptical but go online and find a perfume quiz on a magazine website.

Once you have taken the quiz, there should be suggestions for the perfume you should look at. I just took one: http://www.besthealthmag.ca/look-great/beauty/quiz-whats-your-perfume-scent-personality

Go ahead and take it and see what comes up, I got Woody. Anyway, you can take the two perfumes in memory and find it in store and smell it, spray it one, testing if you can wear it all day or if it is not you.

I recommend, if you just want to go for it, go to an Ulta because in department stores they watch you like vultures and I understand that it is their job, I just don’t feel comfortable being watched for a sale. No offense to anyone who is in that department. I love Ulta and it is rare (where I am from) that they come to ask me about anything in perfume. Go ahead and try out a perfume that you think will smell good. I also recommend that you make sure, wherever you go, that there are coffee beans so that you can clear your palette when you smell another perfume. If you do not smell the coffee beans after one perfume, you can get a mixed smell from another which could be perfect but is blocked by another scent.

How to Shop: Ulta

Ulta is a place where high end meets drugstore. I love Ulta and all that it comes with. I find that when you first go to Ulta, you don’t have to buy anything, but just venture and go through everything. Look around and don’t worry about having to be pressured to buy anything. I like to map out where everything is and it makes shopping at Ulta so much easier because you don’t have to worry about being dragged into another area and worried to buy something. If you like high end products more, Ulta has a great selection, not as many as Sephora. I really like clearance at Ulta and even though it is hard to pick some of the stuff because it is already opened, I love buying nail polish. I find that there is clearance O.P.I., Essie, and a few others that are on clearance for affordable prices.

What you should know about Ulta right now is that they are pricier in the drugstore department. Anything you can buy at Walmart or Walgreens, or wherever, Ulta will generally be a few cents to a few dollars more. I don’t know why that is but I buy from there because I  am part of the rewards program which is really good. If you get a certain amount of points, you get rewards such as $3.50 off a purchase or a free perfume, depending on how much you shop there. $1.o0= 1 point. Sometimes they have double points or more, depending on if it is for all purchases or for certain items.

Overall, Ulta is a great place to shop at and the people are generally really nice and helpful and don’t mind to give you their assistance. I recommend that you go at least once.

Review: O.P.I. Mermaid’s Tears

Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, and this nail polish is my absolute, 100% favorite polish. Now I will tell you why people spend so much for O.P.I., China Glaze, Orly, etc. The consistency and shine! I find that my nails still chip even with a top coat within a few days but the way  that this polish applied when I first tried it, blew me away! I bought two mermaid’s tears on sale for $4.50 and if you have been with me from the beginning, you know that I don’t spend more than $2.00. I also said that if I saw Mermaid’s Tears and For Audrey on sale that I would buy them. So, after I bought mermaid’s tears, I painted my nails and they looked amazing! I absolutely fell in love with the color and how it shined so much on its own, much different from the nail polish I have now. If you buy a high end nail polish and have been using affordable nail polish for a long time, you will definitely be able to tell the difference.

I have nothing negative to say other than it can chip just as fast as regular nail polish, even with a top coat.

Positive: Love it!

Negative: Can chip but what nail polish doesn’t?

Disclaimer: photo doesn’t belong to me.
