Ready for a Wedding!

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and recently I attended a wedding and a two day process overtook my life because I wanted to look the best that I could for the event. So, why not review all of the products I used? Some I have tested longer while others are still new to me so in the coming weeks you may see a jump here and there. Please note that some of the items are more high end than others but I have purchased them if they were on sale or when I wanted to treat myself. I still love shopping on a budget but I do know when some items are clearly much better than others after trial and error. Also, some of these items have already been reviewed so you can go ahead and get some reading done! Now, let’s get ready for a wedding!

St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I have mentioned this product on multiple occassions. I love this stuff so much! I can honestly say that this helped me clear my face up without the exfoliating beads/rocks cutting me. This product is one of a couple St. Ives products that I have used to defeat my acne. If you need a lighter version that doesn’t have as harsh of a texture because you have sensitive skin, I would go with the one that has “Fresh Skin” as the label rather than the “Naturally Clear”.

Packaging: I like it, I haven’t had any problems and I feel that this is really easy to get the product out. The end bit is kind of hard to get the product out but it just needs a little more squeezing.

Pigmentation: A light peach color that has exfoliating rocks inside.

Budget: Affordable and about the same price as Clean and Clear which is what I used to buy before I realized that it never did anything for my skin (not to be mean, it just didn’t work out for my skin). I would say this product ranges from $4.99-$6.00 depending on where you go.

What I Use in the Shower and Out!

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here, and I thought I would share what I use in the shower. I will be basing this off of what I use in college and not at home since my normal routine is currently in the confines of my basement waiting to go back to my dorm.

All the items listed are the ones that I have found work really well for my hair, giving it moisture and keeping it healthy feeling and looking.

What I Use (reviews will be coming out every Wednesday just like my graduation essentials!)

-Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo

-Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner

-Organix Moroccan Argain Oil Intense Moisturizing Treatment

-St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control

-Bath and Body Works Shower Gel

-Irish Spring Bar Soap

Outside of the Shower:

-Organix Moroccan Argain Oil

-Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer

ShopaHAULic 28!!

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I am so excited for this haul because these are all items I have wanted to use for a while now, for the most part. All items were purchased from Target.

St. Ives Even and Bright Pink Lemon and Mandarin Orange Scrub. I wanted to try this out because I have a lot of acne scarring on my cheeks so I am hoping that this helps it look less like craterville and smooth like how it feels. Neutrogena Acne Wash. I believe this was on sale too and I have been using the St. Ives Green Tea Cleanser which works great but can dry my skin out after a long time so I am hoping that this won’t dry my skin out and will also help reduce the redness on my skin. Tide to go pen. I got a stain on a white dress of mine and I had never gotten one of these. Thankfully the stain came out without the help of this pen but I just want to be extra ready next time.

Yes to Grapefruit Lip Balm because it was on sale and I like this scent compared to the other Yes to products.

e.l.f. Small Stipple Brush. I have always wanted a stipping brush because it works so well when I watch youtube videos so I want to see how well it really works. e.l.f. Smudge Brush. I always have a hard time smudging my lower lash line so I wanted something to help with that.

Products Worth The Money

Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, and it has been WAY too long since I have gotten a chance to update you all on everything. However, I would like you all to be able to read what I have found these past couple of months and I think is totally worth your money. *I am NOT sponsored by any of these companies.

St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Cleanser:

Price: Varies by Location

I cannot tell you how happy I am to have found this product. I love green tea so when I stumbled upon this along with two other products I was ecstatic. This cleanser is light, smells great, and clarifies skin. The only bad thing I would have to say is that it dried out my skin really badly after my acne had gotten drastically better so I would not recommend using this every day if you have normal skin with no acne. I have stopped using it for a little but I think I am going to start again during the new year about twice a week or when I feel my skin is full of gunk. Also, this reduces redness!!

St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub:

Price: Varies by Location

Best scrub I have used by far and one I will be sticking with. I love the way that it just scrubs everything away and makes your skin feel fresh and plump. You can definitely use it every day if you wish because it isn’t as abrasive as most scrubs.

St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Scrub:

Price: Varies by Location

Okay, last one, I swear. This scrub is probably my least favorite but it nonetheless works great and cleans out my skin quick. Apart from that I have to say that the scrub is fine and gritty and it burns if you have cuts on your hands. I also think that this scrub is one that you would have to get used to but if you would rather have a gritty scrub I would go for this one. But, seriously, if you have intense acne this may sting the face but it should reduce a lot of acne that you have, it did for me.

Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer:

Price: $12.00-$22.00

Seriously the best moisturizer I have EVER tried. My skin has recently gotten less oily and more dry and I believe that is due to the weather but I am unsure. I have also stopped receiving acne in heavy doses or at all really *knock on wood!* and it has been great. This smells great and applies and blends well into the skin and I can definitely feel it working. The only problem, if any, would be that there is no SPF so it wouldn’t be wise to wear this out when the sun is beating down since it provides no protection.

Smashbox BB Cream:

Price: $39.00

I didn’t actually pay for this one, my sister got it for me and it matched my skin color perfectly! I found that by wearing this my redness went away and it blended in really nicely. I still have to use concealer some times for ongoing blemishes but that is normal. I have to say that this is the best foundation I have used by far and it usually stays matte on my skin.

That is all folks! I hope that you enjoyed this and that you enjoy the last hours of 2013! See you in 2014!!!

Green Tea Kick

Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, and it has been a long time, hasn’t it? I just wanted to update you guys on my skin care since I have finally found a couple of products that have done me good and what I have done more of recently.

By the title it is pretty obvious that green tea has been added to my life and I have always had green tea in the sense that I would get it from Starbucks. However, now I am using it more because of the opportunity that I could get St. ives. I saw it on sale at Ulta and decided to go ahead and try it.

These are the products:

The two green tea products that I have are blemish control. Anyway, the cleanser is gentle and within a day or so I could tell a difference and it also reduces redness, at least for me.

I think that the scrub can be a bit harsh for me and it also burns my skin since I have open cuts at the moment on my hands. I would suggest not using that scrub every day as it can hurt and even damage the skin further, so go ahead and use it two to three times a week.

The apricot scrub is actually rather gentle in the chemicals that are used but do have a rocky consistency so if you dislike that kind of scrub I would suggest not using it. I have so far used it once a week.

Hope that this helps you all!

P.S. My skin has cleared up fully (minus one pimple on my forehead that came from stress) and I am so much happier with my skin!
