This Blog Is Moving! Go Subscribe Now!

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I have some big news for all of you…this blog is moving! Please continue reading for important information!

After a lot of consideration about my other three blogs and this one, I decided to consolidate and create a blog that will have everything. I manage six blogs total and it is a lot to keep track of when I get hectic and I know that I want to post up content for you all. I am only consolidating four of them since the other two are separate from what I am trying to do.

When will the new blog be up? The new blog is up right now and will have content starting the first full week in January.

What will happen to TiffanytheShopaholic? Well, I plan to keep the content on here and on my new blog. The major change will happen in mid-December so if things start to look wonky, don’t worry.

What are the other three blogs? They are my Life/Lifestyle, Cooking, and Fashion blogs. If you would like to stay only attached to my Beauty stuff, you can go to the new blog every Wednesday for something new!

If you would go over to The Mermaid Network and subscribe, I would greatly appreciate it!

If you have anymore questions, please let me know!

Benefit Porefessional Makeup Primer

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and can I tell you that this is definitely worth the money! I have yet to find a primer that does the job like this one.

Packaging: Sleek, modern, and sophisticated.

Durability: Definitely longer than most primers I have tried. The surprising thing is that I could barely tell that makeup was on my face with this and everything else on. This primer literally makes all the difference when it comes to how well your makeup will sit. I have some acne scarring that can be covered up by a lot of foundation but with this I can concentrate most of the primer there and it really evens out the scarring.

Pigmentation: This comes out as a nude-beige so I am not sure how well this blends in to darker skin tones but this definitely blends in well and it feels like a really smooth and light lotion. I used a dime size which may be larger than what most people use but I have relatively large pores so I want them to disappear, in a sense.

Budget: $31.00 which I definitely did not pay for since I don’t remember it being that expensive. Worry not, I will find an alternative one day!

Review: Freeman Facial Mask in Avocado & Oatmeal

Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, and this mask is one that I thought would help me with my face when, in fact, did not. I saw a display of them at Wal-Mart and thought to try one that I thought would work for me. This said it would purge pores which is what I needed at the time since my pores had layers of pimples on them. I put this on and it feels really good. I didn’t really see a difference in my face which was sad. The smell of this is nice, of course, it smells like it says but I smelled more oatmeal. I can’t say that this is a bad product because it could work for someone else. These packets are only $1.37 at my Wal-Mart and probably the same around yours. I would suggest trying these small packets and then looking for the tube bottle that costs $3.99 generally.

Positive: Good mask.

Negative: Didn’t do what it said for me.

WTB: Wal-Mart

Review: L.A. Colors Auto-liner in Black

My first makeup item ever and I bought it from Dollar Tree. So excited, I do believe it was at least two years ago and a hot summer day I tried it out. The auto-liner is thin and great for those of you who don’t want to have such a giant or bulky liner. However, I must say that the auto-liner breaks easily if too much pressure is applied. The liner comes in a tube (obviously) and you roll it in and out. I learned after the first try that when I rolled it out and back in that it was loose and pretty weak. I didn’t like how it was like that. I still have it and use it periodically, however, I don’t plan on repurchasing. But, if you are starting out and don’t want to spend so much money when practicing, I do recommend it for experience because it gives you a challenge because if you don’t hold where you roll the liner, it goes back inside and you must make sure you get the liner right otherwise you will stab your eyes, and no, that is not fun.

Positive: the pigment is good.

Negative: bad packaging.

Review: Maybelline Falsies Mascara

Okay, so I decided to get this after thinking about which one to get between Falsies and the Colossal mascara. I looked on yahoo answers to give me which one was the best and people said this one or colossal. Obviously you can tell which one I got. I was definitely excited to use this. I have used it three times since and it is good in the fact that it makes your lashes thicker, I guess, but I don’t like how my lashes clumped together. I did, however, even though it was a bit clumped together that it made my eyelashes more doll-like. I will continue to use this but I don’t think that I will buy this anymore… I like the comb-like brushes, not the twisted ones, personally. UPDATE: Okay, so I will probably buy this again just because I like having my eyelashes look like a dolls and it does intensify my eye area since I wear glasses and all.

Positive: Nice and thick.

Negative: Clumping.

Disclaimer: I do not own the photo.

Review: AVON liquid liner in evening black

This eyeliner doesn’t hold a lot of product as you can tell. It has .4 floz. Which is really small but the liner is really good. The felt tip is really good for the exact motion you want. I am not very good at liquid liner but I used it with ease. I did a design on my face, a fairy-inspired design, which turned out well on my face. I believe that they discontinued this product but they have new eyeliners with more product I think. I can’t remember how much they sell for but I am sure it will be a good deal.

Positive: Felt tip for exactness

Negative: I am not a big liquid eyeliner fan.

Review: Cover Girl Lash Exact

By far, my most favorite mascara at the moment, I have only tried four. Anyway, I love it! Really great with a comb-like brush. I absolutely think that this is a great mascara. I chose this because I looked on yahoo answers to see which one was the best, everyone said Lash Exact and Lash Blast. I plan to buy Lash Blast. There is also a new one that is in a purple bottle, the commercial is running right now, and I might get that. Anyway, this mascara is really great and brushes your lashes like combing your hair. I love it! I am not perfect with mascara so there is the clumping of lashes but that is my fault, not the mascaras. I definitely will buy this again :]

Positive: Great mascara!

Negative: My inability to use it lol

Review: Joan Rivers Beauty Shimmering Base Coat

Well…not my favorite base coat. The base coat is not bad or anything and the shimmer is nice, but I just really don’t like having a white base on my nails. I do like the consistency and the product is great all on its own. I am just not a fan of colored base coats that don’t come on clear. I will have to use this as soon as I finish my AVON base coat. I am looking for a new base coat that is good and cheap! I will spend a little more on a base coat, no more than $5.00 probably. If you can help me out that would be great!

Positive: Great and works.

Negative: I just don’t like colored nail bases

Review: L.A. Colors Color Craze in Electric Charge

I love this!!! I am not even joking on how much this is my favorite nail polish right now! This is only $1.00 at Dollar Tree. I saw another packaging but it is by the same company. The pink is hot pink and even though we are getting into fall I love it!!! Now, the color may be all that I care about but I noticed that even if you have two coats you can still see the whites of your nails. I am sure if you put more than two coats you will not see it but since I do designs on my nails I just decided to leave it at that. This nail polish is really amazing. I am so excited and seriously ready to use the other nail polish that I bought by them.

Positive: The color and how pretty it looks.

Negative: Sheer if only put one coat and even at two you can still see the white of your nails.
