Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and this will be my last post on this blog BECAUSE I am moving all of my blogs to a new blog that will combine all of my other four together! I hope that you will head over there and subscribe: The Mermaid Network
Please note that this product has been discontinued but you can find it online for as low as $7.99.
Packaging: Sleek and smooth with a nozzle that sprays easily. There is also a preventative spray holder so when you travel you can put it on and know that it won’t spritz your belongings.
Durability: Definitely lasts a long while! I like to spray this before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning for extra volume. I spray this mainly around the crown of my head because that is where my hair is most sparse. This really does add volume to your hair, depending on how much you spray you get a different result every time.
Budget: Not sure since I bought it on clearance but I think it ran around $18.00.
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I thought it would be great to share with you am essentials kit that you can use when you go home for a weekend or a weekend away from family with friends. My essentials kit is made up of items aside from the basics like a toothbrush, toothpaste, clothing, etc.
A large cosmetic bag is definitely a good thing to have with you to hold your immediate essentials. I don’t think that even a beauty addict should have exceed this for a weekend but to each their own because I don’t decide what you need or don’t, Do what suits you best!
I got the cosmetic bag for free after purchasing two lotions and a spray from AVON years ago.
For skin essentials I have my Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer abnd St. Ives Even & Bright scrub. I like to apply the scrub right after the shower and scrub once I get out.
For hair I haven’t even used the Bosley Healthy Hair product because I have only been trying it every now and then, I plan to actually consistently use it. I have definitely been using the Organix Renewing Argan Oil and I love it so much! I can definitely tell that when I don’t use it that my ends tend to go back to being dry.
Of course, I have to use deodorant, it is so hot! So, I like to use a gel because it doesn’t clump like a stick. The Secret Outlast Unscented Deodorant works best for me. The next item could be considered weird but it is seriously the best thing for those of you who have thighs that tend to rub together and then become irritated from the friction. I will be reviewing it for next week so keep an eye out for it! The Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel is amazing!
Last but not least I have my Hello Kitty paddle brush that is large so it may not be the best to travel with, I may change it for a smaller brush. The other item is a hair tie because it is always good to have one when you need it. I had another but it was in my sister’s room since I had used it the other night.
There you have it folks, my essentials!
Not pictured was my AVON Bali Bliss perfume! Oops…
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and this product is absolutely perfect for your ends! Keep on reading to find out why!
Packaging: I think that this is absolutely amazing packaging because it is small and great for travel. This bottle also forms with your hand so you can let the product out easily.
Durability: The bottle has been sturdy and works really well to keep the oil inside.
Pigmentation: The oil comes off as yellow but it doesn’t change your garments that you wear to have a yellow tint as long as you thoroughly put the product in.
Budget: This product is approximately $6-8 depending on where you go but I have yet to find another product that works this well and smells like something other than chemicals.
I have used this in and out of the shower and it tells you to use it after your shower. I found that the result wasn’t as successful in the shower. I also found that the product can leave a slight residue so be sure to have a sink or towel close by to wipe off the excess oil. I tend to use a dime size to go through my ends.
P.S. There are three different types, thin/fine, all hair types, and dry/coarse. I have not noticed a difference between any of them.
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I love what this company does to my hair, honestly, specifically the Moroccan Argain Oil line. I started to use this because I wanted to see how much silkier, smoother, and softer my hair could get since at this point I had already switched my shampoo and conditioner. I used this for the first time and saw instant results. Also, when I came back from college and didn’t have this in the shower for about two weeks since I had to grab it amongst my stuff, I could tell that my hair wasn’t as soft of smooth without using this or any of the products from Organix.
Packaging: Love it. i love that I can get my hand into the product without feeling like i am missing a bit of it somewhere.
Durability: I mix this product in with my Organix Moroccan Argain Oil Conditioner and leave it in my hair for about three-four minutes. I use this about two-three times a week.
Pigmentation: Yellow like the conditioner, lotion like, but so much smoother and really conditions the hair.
Budget: This costs around $5.99 and works extremely well so I would say that this is an affordable hair mask.
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I am about to tell you about my favorite conditioner. I have never found a conditioner that had such an instant change on my hair.
Pacakging: Again, like the shampoo, I would rather have the taller bottle so that I could just fit into the shower better. I have also noticed that because this conditioner has a thicker consistency that it is hard for me to get the excess out of the bottle because it sticks to the neck of the bottle.
Durability: When I come out of the shower it is nice to know that the scent lasts and the conditioner soaks into the hair. My hair always feels extremely soft because I use it all over and then let it sit on top of my head, sometimes with the Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Intense Treatment (review coming next week!), and it makes my hair silky smooth.
Pigmentation: It is a light yellow lotion-like consistency but is still smooth.
Budget: Runs around $5.99 and the larger bottle runs around $7.99.
Like the shampoo, I plan to purchase the larger bottle. For more information about the shampoo you can click here.
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and this product really makes my hair clean without irritating my mild dandruff. I had immense dandruff and it has died down but it can get unruly if I don’t use the right shampoo and keep conditioner away. However, I have found that this shampoo really keeps my hair clean and doesn’t irritate my scalp.
Packaging: I believe that the larger bottle is best but the one pictured above is the one you will more than likely see. The bottle above is compact but I have a lot of stuff in my shower so I would prefer that it would be skinnier and taller rather than short and oval-round.
Durability: I was my hair every day but when I don’t I can usually keep my hair oil free without doing anything for about two days.
Pigmentation: The color is a semi-transluscent yellow color that is on the runny gel side and lathers up easily in the hair.
Budget: From when I have purchased it at Ulta it is $5.99 and the larger bottle runs about $7.99.
I plan to purchase the larger bottles when they have it because it is much more convenient for me and I also buy this product at Ulta because I get points and Ulta usually runs a sale Buy 1, Get 1 50% off.
Hope this helps!
Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here, and I thought I would share what I use in the shower. I will be basing this off of what I use in college and not at home since my normal routine is currently in the confines of my basement waiting to go back to my dorm.
All the items listed are the ones that I have found work really well for my hair, giving it moisture and keeping it healthy feeling and looking.
What I Use (reviews will be coming out every Wednesday just like my graduation essentials!)
-Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo
-Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Conditioner
-Organix Moroccan Argain Oil Intense Moisturizing Treatment
-St. Ives Apricot Scrub Blemish and Blackhead Control
-Bath and Body Works Shower Gel
-Irish Spring Bar Soap
Outside of the Shower:
-Organix Moroccan Argain Oil
-Sephora Collection Instant Moisturizer
Hello ShopaHAUlics, Tiffany here, I have been absolutely obsessed with curls since I cut my hair a while back. You can read the post here. Because my hair is fine and thin (what a combination, right?) and when I got my hair cut by a hairdresser at Ulta, she told me that bangs would still look sparse in my hair. i wanted Taylor Swift bangs but didn’t want them if you could see a “bald spot” on my head. So, since then I have gone with a blunt cut on my ends.
These are the three products that I use for my curly hair…
Tresemme Heat Taming Spray
Remington Pearl Ceramic Ultimate Curling Wand 1 1/2″ – 1″
I have a lot of hairspray choices and when I have all the reviews up, you will be able to see which one benefits you the most!
Chi Helmet Head Extra Firm Spritz
or Herbal Essence Set Me Up Hair Gel Spray
or Herbal Essence Tousle Me Softly Hair Spray
Hello Shopaholics, Tiffany here, sorry for the large image, but you will be able to see this much more clearly than a really small image. Anyway, this is a really good hair spray like product. I will say now that this can act as one and if you spray enough will make your hair crunchy like hair spray does. I spray it so that my bangs stay in place on the side of my head and move my head in a semi circle way so that the hair doesn’t stick to conform together. I find that it makes it more natural than having it stick together. It is easy to wash out and a really great product!
Positive: Works well.
Negative: Can get sticky on surfaces if you apply a lot everywhere.
WTB: Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, Target, Rite-Aid
Disclaimer: I do not own the picture.
As you can see, it is $4.99. My mom bought me my first one a week or so before and it is black and white, this one I bought when I was with her and it is pink. I absolutely love it…for the most part. So when my mom got it for me I was all for it and then I put it in my hair and it holds! Don’t think that it doesn’t. The reason I say “…for the most part.” is because I am inept still for trying to get it in my hair. lol. I really suck at getting it even and grabbing an even amount of hair. But, I am sure that you can just tie your hair and put it over it, works all the same. The teeth that go into the hair are good, but if you apply to much pressure they bend out of shape which I don’t really like, but I am just rough with everything I own, I try not to be. But, yeah, they have these at Old Time and probably at Bed Bath and Beyond as something “AS SEEN ON TV” or something.
Negative: If you apply to much pressure you will bend the comb teeth, they are made of wire?
